And her english has gotten really good! :D Looks like the break to film COBU 3D has served her well; she really brought some explosive action to the stage here. One hell of a performer!! Ah I wish I was there. Her vocals and dance are so freakin awesome. <3

Omg I can't wait!! I really hope to see a new dance MV from BoA, but I think "Milestone" sounds more like a ballad; probably also more likely to be one since it is for her 10th japanese anniversary. Hope this is a good one since she has been away from both korea and japan for quite a while already. All of us fans have been waiting! :'(

Here's the write-up from BoAjjang, no further information has been released so far.

On October 7th, BoA tweeted that she was on her way to shoot her new Japanese music video, exciting fans all over the world for her long awaited return. It has been over a year since she last released her digital single "I See Me" for Audio Technica, and a year and 3 months since the release of her 30th single "Woo Weekend."

According to her Japanese website, BoA will release her first DVD single for her 10th anniversary in Japan, which will include a single with a new title track called "Milestone."

The DVD will include the "Milestone" music video, a 10th anniversary film that will include interviews and a documentary of BoA's 10 years in Japan (tentative), and the making of video for "Milestone."

The DVD single is set to be released on December 7th, and BoA will have her yearly "THE LIVE 2011 'X'mas' Concert" on December 10th and 11th at the Tokyo International Forum in Hall A.

Allkpop has just been informed by SBS‘s “K-POP Star” that BoA would personally pick the top contestant from their L.A. auditions!

BoA was named as a role model by applicants from all over the world, and is recognized as one of Asia’s top stars. Having achieved ‘world-star’ status by her teens, BoA will offer knowledgeable advice and commentary to all those who try out.

Meanwhile, JYP Entertainment‘s J.Y. Park will also meet the New York contestants in person. He’ll be looking for another star through these U.S. auditions based on their raw potential. Hidden talent will be looked for rather than current skills or abilities, so contestants who have not yet refined their skills are encouraged to try out.

Applicants can feel hope in J.Y. Park’s abilities to scout diamonds in the rough, as he was able to mold Taecyeon (who didn’t know how to sing or dance before) and Nichkhun (who had been an ordinary student) into the K-Pop idols they are today.

These U.S. auditions will be the best opportunity for star-hopefuls to show off their talents and ability to a world star, and to the best producers in Korea.

On September 15th, singer BoA attended the opening ceremony for ESCADA’s Tokyo Roppongi Hills store as a special guest.

The beautiful singer appeared wearing a gold dress worth approximately 1.78 million yen. “This is the first time I’ve worn such a gorgeous dress, but I’m of an age where I can wear things like this now,” she said. When asked whether or not she had brought an escort, BoA smiled while replying, “I don’t have one yet.”

BoA recently celebrated her 10th anniversary since making her debut as a singer in Japan. “It’s amazing that the 10th year has come so soon,” she said to the reporters. “This year I’ll be starring in a Hollywood movie. It was a new challenge for me. I’d like to do my best as an artist as well.”

Since the opening of the ESCADA store coincides with Roppongi’s own “birthday”, the ceremony was gilded with a gold concept. Others who attended the opening ceremony include actresses Katase Rino,Kokusho Sayuri, and Tamaru Maki, as well as popular models Michibata Karen, the Kano sisters, and Tominaga Ai .

Been watching some clips from the SM live stop at the tokyo dome! Yeaah so glad that BoA could make it!! Hoping for more fanvids to come out though. SM created a facebook page where they have been updating with photos from the concert too. Lastly, a writeup from BoAjjang about what BoA was interviewed about during the SM press conference! Most of the attention was focused on her because this year is her 10th anniversary in japan! Doesn't time just seem to fly by?! Congratulations to BoA unni~


As many of you may (or may not) know, the Chuseok Holidays are coming up in South Korea. Chuseok is the equivalent of Thanksgiving. During the press conference for "SM TOWN LIVE IN TOKYO SPECIAL EDITION," all of the artists were interviewed including BoA, Kangta, TVXQ, Super Junior, Girls' Generation, SHINee, and f(x). BoA was asked by 10Asia reporters, "BoA, I'm sure this [the concert] is meaningful to you too with it being your 10th year since your debut [in Japan."

She replied, "It definitely isn't easy to get a hold of these concerts. I think it's amazing that we get to stand on the stage of a venue that everyone dream's of and for me to have gotten to be with these people for 10 years. I'd like to ask for your continued interest in us artists at SM Entertainment even after this concert ends. (laugh)"

BoA was then asked, "In what way do you think your juniors and the response of the Japanese fans are different than compared to 10 years ago?" and she answered, "There was no 'Hallyu' or Korean Wave when I first debuted [in Japan] and Korean singers were an unfamiliar presence to Japanese people, I was lonely as well. Hence I was at a disadvantageous position to advance into the Japanese music market but I told myself it'll help me learn more. I do envy my juniors nowadays, it seems they have more freedom to do the music they want to do...That they can do a larger variety of music."

BoA and TVXQ's Yunho then teamed up to answer the question: "How has it felt to perform at the Tokyo Dome?" 

She said, "I've been singing in Japan for 10 years but I wasn't lonely at today's concert. I had always felt lonely before but I was happy and proud to get to fill up Tokyo Dome while having so much fun." 

Yunho followed up with, "The Tokyo Dome is a meaningful place to TVXQ as well but it was even more meaningful to get to perform at the venue with our seniors and juniors. We'll keep working harder."

SMTOWN was then asked the final question, "Lastly, are there any wishes you'd like to see come true in time with Korea's Chuseok Thanksgiving holidays?"

BoA replied, "This is a personal wish but the movie I shot this year is in post-production stages. I'm hoping it will be a good movie." Kangta than revealed his own wish that he'd like to get married in the next two years as he had promised himself to get a date after being discharged from the military last year in February. BoA teased Kangta and laughed, "Please go!"

BoA performed for the first time at Tokyo Dome in the 3-day SMTOWN concert in Japan from September 2nd thru 4th. She performed "Hurricane Venus," "I SEE ME," and "I Did It For Love" with SHINee's Key." She will also appear at the next SMTOWN concert set to be held at Madison Square Garden on October 23rd! BoAjjang will be headed to the NYC concert, will you?
